The TRD mechanical LSD is 1.5-way selective, and can optionally be switched over to a 2-way without any additional parts. With the 1.5-way, the LSD functions most during acceleration, and has a weaker effect under braking making it easier to control. The 2-way LSD functions fully when accerating and braking providing excellent vehicle control under a variety of competition conditions. These are clutch plate type mechanical LSDs and Toyota suggest using the correct TRD LSD oil. Available for a range of vehicles (see link below). TRD LSD WEBSITE PAGE
